About Jessica

I LOVE helping others find their individual path, providing insight as they navigate life’s twist and turns, and helping others capitalize on their innate strengths.  I am very passionate about the coaching process and I want to bring this emerging field to other “quarter-lifers”, so you may find YOUR place in life as early as possible, just as I did through the coaching process.

I began pursuing life coaching after graduating from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in psychology. Feeling like the therapist path was not the right fit for me, I first chose to pursue my passion for interior design.  After quickly working my way up the corporate ladder of a large architecture firm in Boston, I realized that the work wasn’t quite as fulfilling as I had hoped.  I had a nagging sense that there was something missing…a personal life purpose that she hadn’t quite attained.

When I first read about Life Coaching as a career, it immediately resonated with me and I knew that this was exactly what I had been searching for within the field of psychology.  The first step I took was to hire my own life coach, and my intense work with him reaffirmed that I had a true passion and gift for this career.  For the first time in my life, I finally felt like I had a meaningful direction that fit with the essence of who I am.

I specialize in working with Quarter-Lifers (20 and 30-somethings) who feel as though they're going through the everyday motions (often even doing so quite successfully!), but they are typically looking for...something more in life.

I am certified through The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), a school accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), where I also trained as an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner.  I serve on the Board of Directors for the ICF-LA, and volunteer as a mentor for a college student in China (through The World Academy for the Future of Women).

In January of 2008, I relocated to Los Angeles from Boston, driving cross-country with my soon-to-be husband and our patient side-kick kitty.  In October ‘08, I married my high school sweetheart back in our home state of Vermont, and together we enjoy good movies, music, and watching almost all sports—but especially the Red Sox.

"My role and gift is not to teach, preach or convince anyone of anything.
I am here to empower others to get their own answers, access their true dreams, and overcome anything that gets in the way of making those dreams a reality."
